Well crapbaskets, I’m having my mixed feelings about Samurai Flamenco once again.
I thought I may stay really disappointed for the rest of the show, since the you know what happened, but there still are some things I really like there.
OK, episodes 8 and 9 were really bad imo. Just bad. Because the characters that were so likeable and realistic before, did not feel like real people anymore. They all acted like the king torture and his ridiculous monsters ass-pull was a normal occurrence and were so ok with the current situation. Wow. It’s like fwoosh, all the good writing and characterization - down the drain!
I mean, I do love unexpected (or..kinda expected) dark twists and deconstructions, Madoka Magica is my jam baby, but this was going down the baaaaad road.
But then episode 10?
Yeah, even more ridiculous shit, but suddenly the characters feel human again. Somehow?.. Mari. Ahhh, Mari.
Such a gorgeously despicable human being.
Singing and crying to the audience? You.. egotistic shit.
She didn’t even say a tiny sorry to Moe.
.. but that’s a good thing, because I kinda like this show again? :|
I wrote a philosophy essay on the anime, Psycho-Pass.
Got a 100% on the essay.
Emailed by the professor because he wanted to tell me how much he enjoyed my “exemplary essay”, and if I wouldn’t mind sending him a copy of it without my UMID number so that he can use it as an anonymous example for other students to see.
The professor is now going to watch Psycho-Pass.
The Professor now intends to make watching the first episode of Psycho-Pass a course requirement during the utilitarianism unit next year.
JUST WHEN THE THEME WASN’T AWESOME ENOUGH
